Etiquette

  • Arrive 10 minutes before class to sign-in and prepare for class.

  • Show your Membership Card at the Front Desk in order to sign in and obtain a locker key. Students without a pass will not be able to take a class.

  • Come to class well hydrated with water before and after class.

  • Avoid practising on a full stomach, a light meal at least 2 hours prior to any yoga practice is suggested.

  • No shoes allowed inside the studio. Place your shoes and socks in the shoe cabinet.

  • Wear comfortable clothes.

  • Silence during the class is always appreciated.

  • Avoid bringing the mobile phone into the classroom and always keep it in the silent mode.

  • Be considerate of your neighbours’ space when you set up your mat.

  • Don’t step on anyone else’s mat. In yoga class, mat is our temple, representing an extension of our body.

  • Be courteous to staff and other students at all times.

  • Listen to your body and take care of yourself during class. Take rest whenever needed.

  • Concentrate on how teacher adjusts your postures, breathe normally and avoid making noise to disturb the class.

  • Stay through the end of class, do not leave earlier.

  • Leave the classroom as soon as possible when the class is over so that the classroom can be cleaned up.
